A guy was holding a "slow" sign to direct traffic around road construction and shook the sign at me when I drove by. I was only doing about 5 mph and I thought, "it only looks like I'm speeding".

 

A stranger took a picture of themselves posing in front of my car.

 

That happened to me too. A kid took a selfie in front of my car. He was trying to look gansta

 

I have had a couple of people tell me to call them when I'm ready to get rid of her. Real estate agent and my plumber just recently. I take that as a compliment.

 

The usual compliment is "Love your car." I often get double-takes, triple-takes and people getting behind me and following me.

 

My old detailer told me he really likes the interior. My tire shop complimented how nice the car looks. My new detailer told me how nice the atomic silver paint is (he said it's nicer than a McLaren he regularly does). And I've seen random people stop to look at the car in parking lots.

 

The security guard that is usually stationed at my work parking lot gate has stopped me more than once to tell me how "sharp" my car is and how he loves the grill and hasn't seen a new IS with this grill (the only other one in the parking lot isn't an F-Sport).

 

The usual glances while driving and simple "nice car" compliments all the time. Seen a couple people now take a picture while walking/driving by. Love the attention this car gets!

 

The other day I had a cop pull up behind me, raise his phone up and was taking pictures of my car. I thought that was pretty darn cool!

 

Multiple people have said I really love the simple look of my car. The best one was probably when I saw this lady stare so hard that I thought she might break her neck as I was going off the exit ramp. Lol
