Default Plastidipping stock rims red?

Hey guys, what do you guys think about using glossy red plastidip for the stock rims ? Has anybody tried it? I've plastidipped my rims black before but I don't know how it'll look with red. Thoughts?

I would resist the urge, but, it's your car.
I can't imagine that once brake dust rears its ugly head it'll be easy to clean.

red wheels look good! but plasti-dip is a rough uneven surface. once brake dust settles in there, it will be a pain to clean.

Hmmmm that's what i'm thinking... What about that new AutoDip? Looks pretty good but at the same time, I wouldn't know how it would look on these stock wheels. Being based off the LFA doesn't excuse it from being stock wheels haha.

I do not encourage modifying the color of stock rims especially in red...

It will make it look cheap...

But it's your car, if you like it, go for it

I agree but at the same time, i'm tempted haha. If anything, I can just peel off the red if it doesn't look right.

I wouldn't plastidip the rims any color, IF you had the urge to, MAYBE black, but I personally thing the gun metal that we have now looks the best

She has a picture from a few years ago. I personally wouldn't do it.

Dip has come a long way, to the point that they have near OEM quality finishes and durability.

Autoflex & Halo True Gloss are great examples.
