how come stock rims look much bigger on darker colors?

Default how come stock rims look much bigger on darker colors?
I just noticed that the stock 2is rims (17" or 18") look much bigger on the darker colors visually. anyone feel the same or just me? and what color should i get for 18"s for a white 2is? thanks guys.

I wouldn't get 18"! Go for 19"! It looks better I think.

hahah it's just an illusion.. definitely get 19s... if you want it to look bigger buy those without lips.. make it looks BIG

all dark colors make objects look smaller haha. get gunmetal rims for your white IS, it'll look great!
