Default Camber plates question

I'm on bags and was told that if I want to get more negative camber up front I would need camber plates, I have never used these before , I did some research, but I'm still not clear if I would leave the plate "loose" so it can move freely when I air up and down... Any other suggestions would be helpful .. I'm running a 20x10 235/35/20 tire (thinking of going 245 any thoughts?) ... Yes I know it's huge... Thanks in advanced for the help ! 👍🏼

Do you have a link for the camber plates you have in mind??

Traditional camber plates (on top of the shock absorber) are for strut suspension only, and doesn't work for double-wishbone like the IS has. The only way is to get an upper ball joint with slotted mounts, but they would not resemble "plates"...

whoever told you to get camber plates on a 3is probably didnt know that these had double wishbone in the front. to adjust for camber, you'd need to get a ball joint like NLu mentioned, or get adjustable control arms
