Is it normal to have the Check SRS airbag message come up after this installation?

No. Check and make sure your connections are not loose.

Sooo I probably should have asked before purchasing the wheel, but in any case, The wheel I bought is from DCTM but off of their ebay page so it does not come with any of the center pieces or the buttons, all that should just come straight off of my stock wheel and fit perfectly correct? because I see in all these pictures you guys do not have the extra radar cruise control button which I do and I just want to make sure that the entire panel is what is going onto yalls wheels and not just the buttons in the inserts.. Sorry if this sounds confusing, since I have not taken the wheel off yet I am not exactly sure how to explain it.

What year is your vehicle? I think DCTMS sells for the 14-16 models. There is a change in the steering wheel for the 17 models due to the vibrate function for the lane departure warning.
But yes all the panels and buttons will come from your stock steering wheel. Below is mine but not from DCTMS

Yup you should be good! Thank

The RC is a nice car. I really wanted one however it was not feasible due to having kids

Share pics of yours too when you finish your project. Just be careful when pulling your steering wheel out. A lot damage their clock springs when pulling too hard.

You can get the steering wheels directly from Taiwan factories, actually found some factories that can supply it. Just waiting on some funds available so I can order to see how good quality these are but I'm pretty sure every CF steering wheel comes from Taiwan(designs and color options are just exactly the same). I can post pictures and a review once I order and get it installed. I don't see spending over 500+ for a steering wheel if they are just resold. Doing some searching can save you a few hundred.

Also sourcing for CF shift ***** as well and might offer some on the marketplace if they come out excellent quality but more info coming soon(~1-3 months)

Please do! I agree with the price point of the steering wheels. Seems a bit much.

Just some details for those who are planning on waiting for me to order a sample CF wheel and want to know in advanced the color options.

For shift *****, I already sent out a request for a quotation for black carbon with roja red leather punched. Will post some pics when I get samples of them from the factory.

Link to pics (link to imgur to see what kind of designs and configurations they offer)

My configuration that I got quoted for $420(shipped to HI):
Carbon Fiber: Black
Leather: Punched Red Leather
Stitching: Red
Steering Wheel Design: Carbon round top, carbon bottom sides, flat bottom with Red Leather(might change the flat bottom to CF but still debating)
"F" Badge: Yes

**Also not trying to sell any of these things right now, just informing possible buyers who are looking as prices for a steering wheel coming from the same country are marked higher than what they should be. Also that Alcantara costs more but not sure since I wasn't interested in Alcantara leather. Will create a new thread and post updates and any other information.**

Small update for those waiting for a post from me about red leather shift ***** with carbon fiber. Apparently they just refit it with a carbon fiber addon piece that sticks to the original but trying to figure out if there is a place willing to refit the leather to red.

looks like you're going through OHC Motors

maybe you can setup a group buy for 10 buyers to get the wheel down to 200 each.

it's 350 from alibaba for one. try talking to cindy or Lucy from OHC on IG and you might get it down to 300 for one.

looks like 200 here for one: https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...465237c8sxbJmt

Good news, I located the 2017+ cores as only a few of them carry them in stock and the prices are around $400 which includes shipping(via DHL I believe). I also located a source for the shift ***** to have a carbon fiber shell attached to the existing silver trim and the black leather will be refit to red leather. As a disclaimer that the Roja Red leather is hard to produce unless we find a roja red interior IS that is salvaged and send all the leather materials to China/Taiwan. This is too costly but having it close to factory red leather isn't that bad.

If there is an interest in a group buy, at least 10 will need to be ordered and then I think I need permission from a mod since I'm not technically a member and I'm not really selling anything just offering a easy connect. Not looking to make money off people, just offering help to people who want a custom CF steering wheel but not willing to pay a chunk of their wallets or wait for 2017+ cores to show up.

Can't do a group buy unless an approved vendor sponsors this as stated in the rules of CL. If you want to purchase individually you can just DM me and I will be happy to send you the link and information on how to contact the factory.
