Default Navigation, Radio, LFA Menu Freezing.

I drove my 2015 IS350 F Sport yesterday and 2 minutes into driving, I reaiized my Navigation screen froze, and the Mouse, Menu, and Home keys did nothing. I couldn't get to my Radio or any of the Menus using the Steering wheel controls either. The only way to get this working, was to pull over to the side and restart my car cause I couldn't turn the radio off as well. It worked fine after that, but then a few hours later after dinner, the same thing happened. Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix for it? I tried searching the forums, but can't seem to find anything for 2015 Models.

I haven't experienced that but you can restart the system by pressing and holding the volume **** for 3 seconds. You don't have to turn off the engine.

Wow. Didn't know that! Mine has freezes in the past and I turned off the car at a light. Pretty embarrassing

I haven't experienced this in my 2015 IS350, but OTOH I don't have Nav/ML. If I did experience such a problem it would take me exactly three visits to the dealer to give them a chance to fix this, followed by a Lemon Law return of the vehicle. There just isn't any excuse for this kind of problem in a production vehicle in 2015.

Its happened to me once in 8 months of ownership. I'm pretty sure the dealer couldn't replicate the problem even if you complained

Haha I agree, I bet if I did take it to the dealership everything would work fine until I left.

Cool Thanks SummerRain! I will try this next time.

Do you know if it resets the whole Navigation system, including my LFA panel or just the Nav/ML? Cause the LFA mode options and everything freezes as well, but I'm guessing that is tied to the Nav/ML?

Also check with your Lexus dealer whether or not you have the latest firmware/software update (not nav maps update).
