235/40-18 Front
265/35-18 Rear

If so, have you had any issues? Do you have pictures of how it looks, have you noticed any benefits/drawbacks?

Also looking at some Firestone Indy 500 tires, has anyone here tried those out? Hearing positive things about them, and they seem like a good bang for the buck for a summer tire (perfect for south Florida)
Thanks in advance!!!!
the Front will be OK, the rear you can go with 275/35/18 , or you can maxed out at 285/35/18, because you reduce the profile from 40 to 35, 265 will mess up your AWD if you have AWD system, my recommendation is 275/35/18

I'm running 235/40 and 265/35 on my F Sport rims with no problems. Michelin A/S 3+ tires.

265/35R18 is closer to 235/40R18 than 275/35R18.

Anyone have wider tires on OEM F sport wheels on RSR superdowns? Im thinking of going 265/35/18 Rear and 235/40/18 Front, anyone done this on RSR superdowns?

i'm sure it depends on the size of the wheel adapters used.

You might. MPSS have a more squared corner than some other tires. I went with Continental DWS because of a more rounded corner (sidewall). I'm lowered on RSR downs and have never rubbed

I'm running 245/40-18 on 8.5 +35 wheels, lowered on RSR Downs and only had a slight rubbing at full lock on the inner wheel well in the front. Depending on the wheels, 235 will fit fine in the front.

Can you post a photo of wheel tire profile? Have you noticed a change in handling with the wider wheel?

I've put my CVT's back on for summer, but here are a couple of other pics. I honestly can't say that I notice any difference in handling.

You don't want wide rear tires. These cars tend to understeer and that's the last thing you want to do. A square setup is the most optimal way to improve handling. However on a staggered setup, you would want to go as wide as possible on the front.
235 on front should be good and 245 would be better but it might rub. 255 on the rear is perfect for 8.5 in wheel.

looks a tad more rim protection too with a little wider tire.
