Does anyone else have this problem?

I looked at my car the other day, and I noticed a substance leaking out of the left side of the sharksfin antenna!!!

The substance stained the paint, so in the sunlight the stained surface looks burned, or similar to the shiny side of a CD/DVD.

Also, the stain DOES NOT come out with a wipe down.

See pic attached, but in the sunlight it's much more noticeable!!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

I've looked at your photo many times yet I'm not sure what you're talking about due to all of the reflections of the clouds. Any chance you could take a picture without all of the reflections or maybe a flash would help?

Looks like dried soap from a car wash. Just realized how old this thread is....
