Default 2014 IS350 Fsport check engine light at 7k miles!!!???

So today during my drive I looked down and noticed my check engine light come on! The car has 7k miles on it!! All I've done to it was the ARK cat back and k and n drop in filter, has anyone else had this happen. I'm guessing O2 sensor but it's crazy to think a car with 7k miles had a bad sensor. Noticed the car was running a little rough lately but noting too crazy. Let me know what you guys think!

please check your gas cap. Then if that is fine, look at your airbox to make sure its sealed properly and look under your car to see if the Ark exhaust is fine where the stock cats were at. These are non turbo motors are are mostly bulletproof, so the problem cause is probably limited to your intake, exhaust or cats or gas cap. Hard to believe its anything else

when you install the ARK midpipe, check the downpipe and midpipe connection. Put ur hand near the gap and see if you feel air coming out, the gasket inside might need change. Thats what happen to me.

I'm with you on this one, sounds like that's what's causing the uneven readings.

OP, see if the shop can get the O2 sensors checked out.

I disconnected the battery then reconnected, car runs really rough almost doesn't want to idle then after about 30 secs it smooths out....what is wrong with my car lol!

You could also try cleaning the MAF Sensor, it's a cheap and easy 10 min process.
It's possible the oil from the K&N filter you installed left some oil residue on the MAF Sensor, which would throw off your readings and cause the rough idle / lack of power feelings.

Edit: It's also normal for the car to idle a bit oddly after disconnecting the battery as it needs to relearn its fuel trims.

People say not to mess with it due to how sensitive it is, I may slap the stock exhaust back on and bring it to the dealer, it must be an O2 sensor car bogs down during acceleration

How many O2 sensors are there? I can visually see one on each of the front pipes if u look under the car? Are there more?

If both of your banks are running lean, i highly doubt its an O2 sensor problem.
You said you had intake and exhaust. Id check for vacuum leak first then
check for exhaust leak under the car.

i agree with atomic350... as i stated earlier check for any leaks as you may need to change the gasket rings on the exhaust the connects to the ark midpipe. because same problem happened to me and i just replaced the two rings, one on each side and problem solved.

check for leaks and make sure you didnt twist the O2 sensor cables too tightly when you installed the cat back
