Default Front grill removal

Hey guys,

I have just gotten a IS350 and my shipment for black emblems from ebay came in as well. I can't seem to find any pictures on how to remove the original front emblem safely so that I can reinstall it in the future if I need to use it again. I see that there are two washers holding up the top of the emblem and a clip at the bottom. Also I can't find out how remove the chrome around the grill so that I can paint it, all of the videos I have found are for older models. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The washers that hold the emblem seem to be one-way in only so I'm afraid you gotta pry them out and as a result they'll probably break. As far as the chrome surround grill, you gotta take the whole front bumper off first and work from the back on the tabs.

alius is correct. the tabs are are going to break off the stock emblem. as far as the grille collar, the front bumper needs to be removed.
