Cut thru the glue with a razor you could also try with tooth floss

what itsivan said.. you can also you a plastic putty knife to wedge under there and pry it off. Just be careful. The emblem has two alignment "tabs" that help align it so be careful not to crack those off as you pry the emblem off. They are are at the 3 and 9 o'clock position (i think).

I would use a razor and gently trim the double sided tape/glue that attaches the emblem to the grille. Dental floss helps as well. Make sure to carefully clean the emblem before reinstalling it.

I bought a new "L emblem when I swapped my F-Sport. The new emblem is not expensive. I don't want to risk breaking the old emblem nor the grill surrounding it, if I have to remove it.

What everyone said will work. You can also use a hairdryer to help you out

^^^^This, or a heat gun, literally just pulled mine off two days ago. Heated up the back a good amount on high with the heat gun, then went over the front on low, stuck a knife in between and started turning... Came out like butter. Make sure you start with the pins on either side to prevent them from breaking.
