Default Lights question is250 fsport

Hello,

Pretty bad question I know..

I traded in my 2012 Subaru STi for a 2015 is250 AWD fsport. Is there a way to have the lights always on without causing issues? If i leave them on auto, there is no problem. If i force them to on and then turn off the car, it beeps and tells me I need to have the lights on.

I am used to being able to force the lights always on - is this an option?

You pretty much answered your own question there.

You can "force" the lights on, but gotta turn them off before leaving the car.

The headlights can turn off automatically once you open your door. There's an option in lighting settings in vehicle.

You can choose the auto headlight off to "off". Then, it switch off whenever you open the door.

I am curious why you trade your STI for 250. STI is much faster than even the 350.

You are right, the STi was much faster.

I have had many cars including the STi, an Evo, and a previous 2006 is 350. I always liked my Lexus and was rather bored of the STi. When I saw that there was a pretty snazzy deal for leasing the 3rd generation IS I was interested.

I did not want to get another second generation IS as it would simply feel like the same car, I liked the LFA gauges and opted to get the Fsport 250 awd versus the 350 simply because of price. My goal was to have my monthly payments be around a certain number, and that worked out.

Its not all about speed. I am sure I will get a manual and faster car for my next one (that is my usual trend), however, with work and such it is nice to not be judged for a rally car.
