Default Alignment frequency?

How often do you guys get an alignment in general? I don't have any pull to either side and my steering wheel is straight. I've got almost 15K miles and I've had my car for almost a year and a half. I do recall hitting 2 large pot holes this winter with no noticeable issues afterward.

Is it time for one?

I only get it when I change tires and or when I lower my car. Of course if I see my car pulling towards the left, or significantly to the right, then I get it checked out.

But I also poke my head under the car at times to see how my tires are doing and see if there's significant wear on one versus the other etc.

Overall, no set mileage for me.

^^^that's about the best way to dictate frequency. or you hit a really huge and jacked up pot hole or do an awesome curb check. those instances have a chance of messing up the alignment.

+1 A must after new tires or they will wear super fast!
