Default IS 350 RWD Performance

Hello Fellow Lexus owners:

Perhaps this has been mentioned before, and it it was, I'm sorry.
I have noticed my IS350 to be a bit sluggish. Let me explain. When i would press the gas pedal, the car seems a bit sluggish to accelerate. It seems to "think" for a second before going and i really have to press the gas for it to go. It has happend few times already, and it wasnt even on eco mode, just normal mode. When i had my second gen 350 i dont recall it doing that. I didnt change the gas, always stick with the same brand. didnt do any modifications (all stock here).
let me hear your thoughts on this...Perhaps my ECU needs to be reset?

Well I can tell you my car doesn't feel this way, but all this is very subjective. We probably don't have the same tolerance to input lag, so we get different perceptions. I'm very satisfied, especially on S/S+. Perhaps the best thing would be to have the dealership test drive it, or maybe even test drive another RWD if they have one...

Eco/Normal modes seem very similar to me (normal driving). Those require a generous push of the accelerator to get moving, but I personally prefer that way because it makes for smoother transitions (stop/go). Sport/Sport + are obviously very responsive. If you think it's sluggish normally than by all means use the sportier driving modes.
