Looking to get just the rear diffuser and side skirts from the TRD kit so i went to Nigel's JDMpart.com ...until i saw it was $1100!!! I almost fell out of my seat..I didn't even want to look up how much the sides were gonna be...anyone know if that's the going rate? seems INCREDIBLY expensive.

 

That's the cheapest it gets. I think Sewell costed more! JDM OEM = $$$

 

Yea that's the cheapest I could find man. I ordered my TRD front lip and rear spoiler from Nigel, and I'll probaby get the sides next. Still waiting on my parts though.

 

Out of curiosity, is it way cheaper in Japan? Or is the high prices from the premium markup from getting the parts here from overseas?

 

I got mines for a steal deal as I was browsing then came aross a guy on ebay and he happens to be one of the members here but I think he haven't been on CL for sometime now. Got mines from him for $2500 shipped

 

I think I know who you're talking about. Did he send it from Seattle? I was tempted to contact him and pick it up locally but it got sold soon after I saw it.

 

Yes I believe his name was Aaron. I bought the kit before I even had the car lols... I even bought his exhaust as well.

 

Did you get the kit installed? Do you have pictures? I heard you have to cut into the rear bumper in order to install the diffuser so I'm holding back on that part.

 

Yes I have it installed. Its still in the shop and it should be done today. You have to cut the rear reflector on the oem bumper to have the rear kit to fit. Thats only if you planning on keeping the car for a long time. If you think you might trade/sell it in the future, I recommend not to do it.
