Is it true that really doesn't matter what type/brand of nuts you buy if a thief wants it they'll get it no matter what you do, all you can do is may be slow them down a tiny bit?

If so what type of lug nuts should I get for looks and still give me that false sense of security lol? I'll be getting some 19" in matte gun metal, should i go with red or blue color?

I'd get those. I did a quick search. I'd look for more and research which ones are more reliable and doesn't damage wheels, patterns, etc

I wouldn't get the ones from evasive, you can use a standard socket to get those off, get ones with an actual key. People can still steal them but it'll take a little longer

 

Lol yup, pay to play. There are one's that are good that are in the $100-$200.

Anyways, what I used to do is get 4 sets of locks and combine them all in one wheel. That'll take the thief a little bit longer to steal.

 

Believe it or not, there are 10 different locking nuts that Lexus uses, you could just mix them up on each wheel. Unfortunately the factory ones are pricey, $25 ea from the stealer.
