We've been getting a crazy amount of snow here in Chicago. I just recently discovered what I think is a flaw for the 3IS. When snow falls, a lot of it collects on the top of the window.
See the small amount of snow that collected on the gap between the window and the top of the car itself? Look what happens once I open my car door.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to prevent this? I only say this is a flaw because I have never experienced this when driving the 2011 IS 350 and Honda Accord 1998. Now I have to spend more time out in the cold to sweep my car seats before getting in.

that happens with every car I've ever had, sadly. You just need to brush it off carefully first or it will end up on your seat.

I clearly stated that this has not happened in previous vehicles. That's why I question it.

Yeah, the same thing will probably happen to me. I'll start brushing the snow of my windows first, but there are still gonna be a small amount in the crease of the window. Then once I open the door, the air that comes in will push the remaining snow on my seat. Oh well..
I'm sure the lead engineer on exterior design said to himself "how can I prevent snow from going into the car if the driver was too lazy to remove it himself?"
Probably kept him up long nights. Till he realized this isn't an issue and you should just remove the snow before getting in. And if it gets on your seat...wipe it off.

As I stated before, I have driven a 2011 Lexus IS350 and a 1998 Honda Accord before and NEVER had this happen to me. If it did happen in those vehicles, then I obviously wouldn't had made this thread in the first place. I asked for thoughts and ideas and you give me wise guy comments. Thanks.
See, you keep pushing this reading thing....is it because you realize that I read your post perfectly, only to understand that you're too lazy to remove snow yourself and since your Lexus is so well built, you have simply nothing else to complain about?
Do you complain to toilet paper companies because the paper doesn't just wipe your butt for you?
