Default Prices paid for chrome delete / using 3M vinyl

Hello CL community:

Let the mods begin! I've been searching for a vinyl installer to do a chrome delete for my IS. I was quoted $200 to do the full car (grille, window trim, badges) by a friend of a friend. He uses 3M Vinyl. The guy does decent work and I've seen some pictures of his clients. Does this sound fair? Shout out your thoughts.

P.S. I know prices may vary by region/area. I'm in the Northeast - everything is expensive

That seems to be a pretty fair price. I live in Arizona and a friend of mine was quoted around the same amount.

Also think thats a pretty fair price. I live in the VA/DC area and have been quoted between $225-270 for grille surround and window trim.

Somewhat off topic, but are there any advantages/disadvantages to wrapping during the winter as opposed to summer? Any adhesive issues if done during the cold season?

You brought up a good question. My guy does everything at his heated shop, so I don't see any issues being winter time. Maybe it will take longer for the vinyl to adhere and cure than in the summer time.

There should also be a link to my website which you can do a search on. There's also a search function typically at the top of threads that can help you.
