F16Mobus1 - is that an Ace Combat 4 reference? (aka Mobius 1?)
And btw - nicely done with the installation. I also installed today by chance - but I did simply used the velcro on the RH side of steering wheel adjacent to console sidewall.

post a picture of your set up to see how it looks please.....
Yes sir Ace Combat 4!! but there's a twist in it.....here it goes....you'll find this interesting...
my reference goes deeper than that.....it's a combination of two names....Mobius 1 from Ace Combat 4 and Mabus (the last antichrist) according to Nostradamus' quatrains so that's how MOBUS1 WAS BORN.....
Here's a photo of my setup - simple and quick, although not as nice as f16mobus1. It's nicely within reach, and does not look conspicuous.
btw I am d2man from back in the ace combat days. When shatteredskies.net was up and running (up until last year, but it appears to be gone now) by grandmort, I had high scores in several missions.
you can make it a little cleaner than that, you can hide the wires behind that plastic trim by removing the leather part on the center console. The small piece on the bottom is my nav bypass switch. You dont need the velcro either
Very nice guys, looking to do this as well, what did you wire to where to get this to work? Did you use those little fuse taps and wire to the fuse box? Is your detector mounted on your left bottom of windshield - I always thought middle center mounted was ideal location?
i mounted mine at the bottom of the windshield to the left of the center speaker grille.
I wired to the ignition fuses in the fuse box near the pedals. I didnt use a fuse tap. I just pulled the fuse, put the wire in and put the fuse back in
