Default So this happened :-/

I rarely get to drive my car, only about once a week. I put the wheels on because they were sitting in my garage, and the suspension is sitting in there still to this day. . . So, I was driving South on I95 and I see the car infront of me dip low out of nowhere, I look left and right, there is noway to switch lanes so i hit the dup and heard the infamous sound of rubbing (even though I'm not yet lowered). I get to the Heat arena and take a look and it was like this on both sides rear quarter panels / rear fenders

Completely stock height with two people in the back seat, normal 20x10.5 +45 rears

It's not just paint either, both sides are bent inward

Any public roadway, as long as you can find that they have been notified about damage on that part of the roadway previous to yours they have 6 months to fix said damage and then all consequences of the damage the agency responsible for the safety of that roadway is liable for the damage. . . Have toi call FHP and file a police report first though. . .

So let me make sure that I understand this and please feel free to correct me if I have anything wrong. You put 20" wheels on a car designed for 18" and then hit a dip which caused body damage and now you want the state of Florida to pay for it?

This is going to be heard to claim. First you need to convince the Fhp to agree to file a police report. Second you must file the report on site. Since your wheels are protruding out it will be really hard to claim. Now if your wheels is bent you can try to claim that. Man this sucks. Did you go to the rcf drive event? I swear i saw your car park up front .

+1

And your stance is terrible. Wheels coming that far out over the fender is.....well.....you got what you had coming to you. Lick the wounds....go to a body shop....get that fixed....and buy wheels that fit

Look on the bright side, now you have an excuse for a wide body or fender flares.

Second that... But I really don't see anyone paying for that, you could try to put it through insurance if the wheels are bent too, but I would strongly suggest changing the set up if that happens...

Sucks that this happened. I dont think your stance is bad, Ive had wheels stick out farther than that. Although do you have your fenders rolled and pulled? With a 10.5 inch rear, I would at least expect a little bit of a pull to avoid things like this. When I did my fenders, I had several size pipes on hand with a jack (and heat gun) to get the fender over the wheels
