Default Shaking/vibration at low speeds

Hey all!

I've had my IS 250 F-Sport for exactly 6 months now, and over the last month I've noticed that when I'm pulling in to park or backing out (at a very low speed) with my steering wheel turned right or left from the center, I hear and feel some shaking/vibration from the car. I can't pinpoint if it only happens with the A/C on.

I live about 3 hrs away from my Lexus dealer now, and my first maintenance appointment is at the end of the month. Has anyone experienced this?? I'm pretty disturbed. I have about 4500 miles on the car.

I have not had that issue with my is250 but I experienced it with my 09 A4. Not sure if it was the same thing but I got a lot of vibration from the steering wheel when turning in and out of a parking spot. It was a problem with the power steering hose. Not sure if its what youre experiencing but thought id just mention it. Hope you figure it all out!

Did you change the tires and wheels?

Nope -- I bought my car in February and started experiencing this in the last month-and-a-half or so. Nothing new at all...just been driving it normally -_-
It's at the dealer now for 5k maintenance and I told them everything I'm experiencing so we'll see what they say.

Thanks for that! I'll bring that up to the dealer if they haven't figured out what may be causing it.

hi sorry for bringing this back up again after so many years but did you ever find out what was wrong with it?! My 2007 is250 AWD is having the exact same problem, shakes a little when I’m turning at slow speeds, thanks for your help!

Keep in mind your car is a 2nd-gen IS... not a 3rd-gen like the thread author's.

Anything done to the car recently? How many miles? Has it always done this or did it start recently?
