Default F Sport exhaust

Finally i got my 14 IS 350F AWD yesterday. The dealer put on the F sport exhaust for me. But the sound didn't really impress me. its kind of louder and deeper compare to the original one. But not like what i thought i could be. i did watch some of the sound clip on youtube and CL members who posted on. I just wonder that did they got the mid pipe of anything too make it louder, deeper, and meaner in those clips? I am gonna get the F sport Intake system to hope its gonna be better. If anyone knows about the mid pipe, please help!!! Thanks

Your car is bran new, you have to give it some time to break in. Once the car starts breaking in you'll notice a big difference.

Thanks, I thought that the engine was broken in in the factory. we just give the car some time to break in suspension and stuffs like that. maybe I'm wrong. thanks for the info btw.

I felt a huge difference on my engine after 11,000 Kilometers of driving. It is much powerful and fuel consumption improved.

I noticed the same thing its not like the 2nd gen was with the f-sport exhaust, this one is much more like a lame duck f-sport exhaust and I have it on a 350

so wait just so i understanding you correctly, are you saying that the exhaust was not as loud as you thought i would be? meaning that it was a little loud compared to factory exhaust but not loud compared to most aftermarket exhausts?

You realize its only an axle back right? If you wanted loud and aggressive go with a cat back.

actually if they wanted loud, they should go with race headers (though probably only street is available currently) and a straight pipe end to end.

Yes,it is louder than the stock exhaust, but not like those clips that CL members posted on. It sounds deeper, i heard it when I'm in the cabin. But as i said can't get attention from public

Anyone know if there's an exhaust with a silencer switch? I have it for my other car, really comes in handy when you live in a neighborhood filled with old ppl
