I was wondering if anyone could make sense of the Modellista site to tell me whether or not the body kit for the IS has been merely planned or is actually being produced and sold to the public.
the pictures below (and on the webpage) are for the non-f-sport model despite being labeled an f-sport kit on the site, which is great because i opted to not get the f-sport. i'm just wondering about availability and importation to the US.
when I ordered my trd parts form nigel jdm parts, he told me he could get these pieces as well, contact him, I am still waiting on my parts. so the wait would be long

how long have you been waiting if you don't mind me asking?
edit: i contacted nigel and so i'll keep anyone who is interested informed. there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in this kit, although i really like it -- it's super understated and much more elegant (i realise my tastes differ) than any of the other kits i've seen thus far.

Modellista just renew their body kit for the IS and this is the latest one.
It wasn't like this before.
If you have check our fan page, we posted it a few days ago https://www.facebook.com/NigelJDMPartsFanPage
I contacted nigel through his website a few weeks ago about this kit.
Also thought about ordering the modellista kit, or at least some of it. But for the f sport.
Will follow your thread, and please tell me how it works out and what the price will be.
I just wanted the rear bumper, but is seems you also have to buy the muffler to get the rear bumper.
This makes the kit very expensive, and the shipping also becomes expensive because of extra weight and size.
Took a look at a front end two piece add on type splitter and its $700... its a little pricey for something so small. Better of just getting the splitter from Aeroflowdynamics. For under $800 I can get the front splitter and side skirts.
i never wound up getting the modellista kit because the price was insanely expensive. i wish it weren't so and i also wish that some company would come up with replicas of the modellista kit, but sadly, no.
