Default Beatsonic Installation Tips/Guide?

Does anybody have a color guide for the installation of the Beat-Sonic DVD override system for factory nav?

I've never taken apart the interior of my car and I'm really scared I might scratch it or mess something up. The product itself came with detailed instructions in black & white, however it's hard for me to distinguish things.

Also, any viable alternatives to the panel remover tool using common tools?

Thanks!

Its pretty simple. Everything just clips off. Quick jerks of panels . Have a towel handy for when you remove stereo out so you can lay it on it between it and the dash panel so nothing gets scratched. The kit should provide step by step instructions with it. Beat Sonic is pretty good about it

I installed the Beatsonic interrupt myself, with no trouble. Keep in mind that I've never removed a single panel from the interior of a car, ever. Just follow the included directions and you'll be fine.

Cheers.

Did you have the panel removal tool or what did you use to remove it?

Get a plastic panel remover tools. My experience was quite different. I had a very hard time removing the shifter gear plate. It was very tight for me to remove, I had almost gave before trying again and wear a rubber glove to prevent scratching the trims with your nails.
Btw, do a search on the forum, I posted a color pictures from Japanese website in the past.

I dont know about everyone else but I had to change the connectors on the GPS antennae ends, they were swapped, meaning the one that should have been plugging into the beatsonic unit was opposite. So i had to take off the connector on the IS cable, and swap it with the one on the beatsonic cable. Not a big deal if you have worked with harnesses and de-pinning stuff, but I was surprised to find that.

I didnt have to do that, everything was completely plug in play. Maybe a defect from them fabbing the connectors
