Default Lexus Enform and Nav question

I'm not sure I completely understand the relationship between the Enform app suites, Navigation data, etc.

Does the Navigation system of the Lexus require a paid subscription for map data? I saw another thread saying Enform is now free, so I'm wondering if map data is included in that.

The navigation and the Enform App Suite are completely separate. You can use portions of the Enform App to get destinations into the navigation system (Bing and Saved Destination), but the nav data is on the tiny memory card behind the panel in front of the seat heater buttons.

Good to know, thanks. I had a moment of wishful thinking that I could escape the pricey map updates.

Map updates are not free. If you want to update the microSD card with never map you'd have to pay to get a new card.

Can you put music on the microSD card? I thought that's what it was for.

I don't think you can do that. You might ruin your navigation data and have buy a new one.
Lexus needs to do a better job at hiding that card.
