Default Stock Amp Wiring

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of installing a sub and amp in my 3is. I have the stock audio system (non-ML, No-Nav) and wanted to know if anyone has the wiring diagram for the stock amp? I need to know which wires to tap for my amp.

Also does anyone have instructions on how to remove the stock subwoofer in the rear deck?

Thanks in Advance

To get the rear deck lid off you will have to remove all the back seats (has side airbag as well), third brake light and C pillar panels. its not a easy one to disassemble.

I just did my install a couple of weekends ago and tapped the hi/lo converter into the factory subwoofer location, in which you only need to take off the panel in the trunk to access. The remote turn-on wire was tough to find, i had to just tap to the fuse box located at the driver side kick panel.

Thanks specONE and niccuhles! I tapped into the Rear R\L speakers on the stock amp for the hi/lo converter.

Did it sound okay?
I am not sure if the crossover points for those speakers will be good enough for Subwoofers.
it may be a bandpass signal from What I assume.
Best place may be the factory Subwoofer Honestly.

Have any of you attempted to vent the sub in the trunk through to the cabin? I suspect that Lexus does a good job of isolating the trunk from cabin.

After some trial and error, Using the speaker level inputs on my amp I figured out that using the sub inputs along with the rear inputs gave me the best sound.
