Im workin on a 1992 Ls400. My sub is blown so i had the bright idea of replacing it with 2 10s in a box. Now i also plan in adding in a new 600 watt amp, but i need to know which wires are like remote and audio. Anyone know anything about the colors of the wires that go to the stock pioneer amp in the trunk? Also is the wires that go into the stock amp the best place to get an unamped ("line level") signal to goto the new amp?

I have a GS wiring diagram which won't help you guys. The way i got it, though, was just to call my dealer and ask for one and they faxed it to me for free. Totally worth it. Good luck with your projects!

 

i need help on this too on my '90 ls400 with a pioneer gm-????-zt sub amp!!! there are so many wires going in ... is it likely that this diagram is pertinent?:

i worry not because:
a) its not an ls400
b) its not a pioneer amp thats receiving the input
c) who knows what year it is

but this diagram which is linked off the same page is for a pioneer:

however it still suffers from worries a and c ... can anyone verify one way or another?
