Cool Just got my BeatSonic DVD/NAVI Controller

I've had great success using them on my other Lexus vehicles and there is a KILLER GB going on where the unit is only $100. Mine just came in

Install DIY please?

want to see if this is something I can do myself.

Mushi - allows DVD playback / access to GPS / enter address etc while car is in motion.

I installed mine a few months back but for DVD override only. Instructions for removing trims are identical.
This site should help visually.

Yes plug and play. I have Prestigious society box and comes with printed instructions. I assume Beat Sonic too.

I honestly don't like how Lexus designed the AV console. GS is very simple to remove, our car is PITA, just to get to two bolts we have to remove all the trims and shifter gate is really hard to take off. Don't hurt your finger while doing it as I did mine.

It's a bypass that allows you to use the functionalities locked while in motion. Kinda like a parking brake override for aftermarket head units.

Just installed mine today. The instructions still skip a ton of steps. PM me if you have any questions.

you have to remove the navi controls that are connected to the cup holder as well as the drive mode console behind the shifter. then when you get to the actual clip assembly of the beat sonic you need to take apart the locking part that attaches to the radio. instructions make it like a 15min job but you actually need to completely dissemble the center console

Where did you put your activation button? A picture would be great! This is the only thing I don't like about Beat Sonic is the button but $100 is a steal.

theres a spot right by the padding for the drivers knee behind the right stalk in the steering wheel, where you can wedge the switch in, thats where I put my radar detector silence button too, this is where I plan to put the nav bypass button too
