Default Grill swapping?

Anyone know if F Sport and non F Sport grill could be swapped?

I don't really like the grill on the F Sport, i feel like it too much going on. I like the non F sport look better. Does anyone know if it can be a directed swap from bumpers? or does the grill have to go with the bumpers as well?

They cannot be swapped. If you look closely, you can see that the spindle "pinch point" is down lower on the non F Sport than it is on the F Sport version.

so i would have to swap bumpers if i want to swap grills?

because I'm in the process of buying an IS350 F Sport, but i want the non F sport front.

Would dealer build one like that? and would they mark up the prices for changes? Even tho when is suppose to be a "down grade"?

Yes, the whole bumper would have to be replaced. You'd have to order those parts and arrange to have them installed, be it by the dealer (if willing) or an auto body shop. It's likely to be prohibitively expensive. The dealer cannot just order one in this configuration as it is not a configuration that Toyota/Lexus builds.

You know, there's people that pay $4,000 for that F-Sport grille. But I have to agree, non F-sport looks better it breaks up the front idk why it just looks better.

Riiiiiiiiiiight, because that is where the whole $4k went ...and the sole reason people buy F-Sport.

FSport is just a gimmick. Lexus deletes all the nice stuff you expect the car to have and adds some stickers and changes the dash, but no power. Sorry but it's the truth.

BMW's M-Sport doesn't offer more power either.

F-Sport
- 18" wheels (standard)
- better brake pads
- Adaptive Variable Suspension
- Sport + mode
- Thicker steering wheel for better grip
- More sport oriented seats (and more comfortable)

That's not counting the cosmetic changes such as badges, lfa-like dash, rioja interior, interior trim change and grill.

What else ya got?

I was sold on the lfa style dash.....i woulda regretted not getting it later, plus price difference was on fsport side since most base models come with premium package, so it was like an extra 1600 for rims/suspension/dash/plus all the other stuff....kinda a no brainer. unless you really really didnt want it.

To the OP... Order your car... When the car arrives, find a local owner to swap with.. (same color)

The swap just about involves all front bumper components and even fender liners..

It will be pretty easy IMHO..

IMHO the seats and the AVS make the F Sport worth it alone.

True for 350 but I thought 250 does not come with intake, only f-sport 250 gets that?
