Default Help!!!!!

Hi guys,

I don't know if this is a minor issue or if it may be a actual problem. But basically I was showing the engine bay to a friend, and being the genius he is, he unclipped one of the clips that covers the top of the radiators and dropped it accidentally into the engine bay . Being my first car I really don't know if this will affect my car somehow if it gets into the wrong valve or what not. Can you guys please let me know how to go about this? Sorry if im overreacting but i appreciate any advice.

Thanks

what kind of friend does that?

probably sitting on the lower tray rattling around might have to take that off to get to it.

Some people just don't give a s*** about their own cars, so don't expect much when it comes to other people's car. They lack the respect and boundaries for other people's car. My friend put his soda can on my trunk, I was flipping out, but he was like what's the problem?

yeah, I know sometimes its just annoying. and I'm paranoid about leaving the clip in the engine somewhere. I think im going to get lexus service to check it out during 1600km maintenance

you sure it didn't just fell right through the engine bay onto the ground? Even if it didn't I wouldn't worry about it, you never know if the technicians tuning your car would have done anything similar by accident. Nothing to be dreadful about, your car would be fine. I think the dealers would laugh about it when you tell them to check it out for this reason. Not trying to tease you, but I was in your shoes before.

Don't worry about it. It is not in the engine, it is in the engine bay or on the ground, but it is NOT in the engine.
The engine is basically a sealed unit so you can't drop anything in the engine without opening something up.
