i think for 3IS, the head lights are really small already. maybe not suitable.

 

Nooo!! That will spoil the lines of the headlight a lot!

 

A friend of mine did this on his BMW 535i and it looks OK. I wouldn't do it on my 3IS because I think the headlights look great already and I like the overall look of them so I don't plan on changing anything on the outside.

 

I just think the 3is could look a little more aggressive than it already does

 

If I am not mistaken I think I see eyelids in this picture and it looks awesome. Wonder if this is tinted or maybe plasti-dipped?

Anyone know what is going on here? I really dig this.

 

Usually not a fan of eyelids... but from this angle, that looks pretty nice

 

Update for anyone interested: the guy got back to me and said it was done using nightshade paint.

Damn I'm not usually a fan of eyelids on any car but that looks pretty good. Probably wouldn't do it to my car tho haha
