3is OEM tires replacement
honestly ive read the DW and S04 are 90% performance of the PSS but 66% of the price. Im going to go with the DW since the tires are lighter than the S04
I looked for the RT and it seems that it is rated as one if the quitest !
Anyway I'm not sure if I want to buy another dumlop after my bad experience with them , so if you are going for the RT give me your feedback after testing them as I will get them too if they are good .

First verdict after 15 miles on brand new Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 225/40/18. The noise is more high pitched than my winter tires, and the stock Bridgestone summer tires. And they really are quieter. I hear the wind noice more clearly now.
The real test will be tomorrow with my daily commute to work. 55 miles, of which 50 miles in 70 mph.
and will affect your speedo by around 1.5%
but will improve the understeer for sure. maybe change your fronts to grippier tires ones? like Michelin PSS?
Here you go!

But i suspect there's to much air in them. The ride is a bit harsher. Have to check the air pressure.
And sometimes they "sing" when driving in high speed on rough tarmac.
No, not at all. The tone of the noise is more high pitched. But the sound level is lower. I hear the wind more now, since the stock tires drenched the wind noise before.

PSS is the best performing tire, but if you dont track it youre not going to notice it. Im going to go with Continental DW since its 90% of PSS performance for 66% the price.
ive found tirerack and discount tire to be similarly priced out the door. Shipping from tirerack is about a wash with the tax from discount tire. Discounts price includes road hazard, install, lifetime balancing.
For PSS: $1175.59 OTD with Discount, $1036 shipped with tirerack, both with road hazard. After installation its going to be about the same price.
For Conti DW: $982 OTD with Discount, $680 shipped with Tirerack w/o road hazard $680 (cant add for some reason)

But you have to install your own tires if you order from Tire Rack right? I have no idea how to do it. Lol. Also you don't have the road hazard warranty from them? The $1300 from discount tires were all in.
Edit: oddly, the 225 is more expensive than the 235, by about $15/tire

If you want to reduce understeer a suggestion would be to find a rim that accepts a 255/35/18 in the front.
