Hi there
It's 3m and it's 20% charcoal. I have been using the same tint shop for 17 years and he always charges me the same price of $155 for 5 windows. I have never had any issues with the type of film he uses or his installation. In fact his shop has been in the same location and he is been in business for 30 years at the same spot. He has never raised his prices for any of the jobs he's done on my cars.

Curious, you ever get pulled over for the 20 percent tint?

The tint place is called Sunshield Auto Tint. They are on Van Nuys Boulevard in Sherman Oaks right near the 101 freeway. Their phone number is 818-906-TINT. The owner is Hamid. As I said he has been in business for 30 years at this location and I was recommended to him by Miller Honda back in 1997. He does all the dealers up and down Van Nuys Boulevard.
Funny thing is with all the Lexus IS's I have had, only got pulled over once for it. Cop let me go. Never had a problem. I just like the look of the 20%, and I have it all around on all 5 windows. I think it looks the best.
