Thanks Elaine, it has gotten even shinier that that. It takes 5 days for the coating to fully cure. As it does this it gets shinier.

Whats interesting is my detailer said prior to application of the coating, my paint was perfect an d it required very little correction and prep. He did a light polish to it before applying the coating and cleaned the pain throughly for contaminants. My obsidian was never like this. It required a lot of polishing prior to the application of the same coating.

thats the same effect with the 22ple. the rinse less wash and wax i use just rolls down the car. plus it provides a layer of wax protection. my microfibers just glide over my car.

that is why i chose to coat my new 350 after having he coating on my 250 I traded.

thank you!!

I have never heard of aquapel? Do you apply it like the coating to your car? Where did you purchase it?

thanks for your help and yes you are right, the water just slides off the car. so much easier to maintain. I am so much happier with the white. Takes my half the time to clean as the black did without fear of scratches that show on the dark finish.

love this car and love the 350 too. its my first one and its a whole different machinel from the 250.

Hi there

It's 3m and it's 20% charcoal. I have been using the same tint shop for 17 years and he always charges me the same price of $155 for 5 windows. I have never had any issues with the type of film he uses or his installation. In fact his shop has been in the same location and he is been in business for 30 years at the same spot. He has never raised his prices for any of the jobs he's done on my cars.
