Vinyl roof wrap, does it damage paint/clear coat?
Hi guys, i just bought a new ultra white is350 fsport. I really think this car would look great with a gloss black vinyl roof wrap, but i'm wondering if doing this will damage the paint. I had read previously about some people saying the clear coat was damaged upon removal from other cars. Also is a roof wrap something you can keep on for like 10 years? What brands would be the best? That guy that quoted me for the tints and roof wrap said he uses llumar products, dunno if thats good?

Nope its the opposite vinyl protects the paint. Usually if you just got your car painted its recommended you don't get vinyl done for a while as it will peel off the clear coat. I have never run into a issue with clear coat coming off. It could last 10 years if you take really good care of it, I have 3M.
