3IS - Music Fade with Nav Voice?

3IS - Music Fade with Nav Voice?

Noticed that the music does not fade to a lower volume, as it normally does on all other cars, when the nav voice comes on for directions.

i dont see a setting for it either

anyone know if this is possible on the 3IS?

No, it is not possible on the 3IS.

I think Lexus forgot to add this feature. All previous gen Lexus have this but maybe new GS doesn't do it either.

I went into settings and turned the Nav voice up to its highest setting. This works for me while I;m listening to music while using the Nav.

Not true, 2IS is the same. Very annoying mistake by Lexus that they keep it unresolved.
I like to liste music to a maximum and it's impossible to use the navigation.

Are you sure? I remember 2IS lowers the volume.

Come to think of it, I am not sure if my RX does it or not. I'll have to pay better attention.

Count me in the (apparently) few who prefer the current setup. I'd rather it didn't mess with my radio when giving instructions.

well the 3IS nav system isnt state of the art in any way...I think it is behind in tech compared to other companies. I suggest going onto Lexus' website to put in a complaint and if enough complaints get piled up they will work at it with a firmware update.
