I would buy an Audi If they can make it into the top 10 list of JD power's VDS.

Haha, okay.. I know you probably meant in the same price range as the 3IS, but I had to use this moment to look up an Audi that makes me drool.

I used to think the same but now I question them. Why do their DRLs turn off when the turn signal comes on? It's just the side with the signal. It comes across as though it doesn't have enough power to power both the DRL and the turn signal. Which is obviously not the case, but that's the impression it gives.
That aside, I like Audis. Really thought I was going to buy one this time around. The power of the S4 was so tempting. It has to be putting out more HP and torque than what its rated at.

Just a hunch, but this goes back to my previous post. I think they turn the DRL's off when the turn signal is on so that oncoming cars are not fixating on the DRL's and possibly not even seeing the signal light. I know that sounds weird, but it is possible.

I don't think it's an issue with not being able to supply enough power to both the turn signal & the DRL's. Either one of those units would require very little power (especially if both use LEDs). There must be some other reason Audi does it.

Are you forgetting they were the top-selling luxury-auto brand in the U.S. for 11 years through 2010?
That was just 4 years ago, when they were plagued by Recalls and Natural Disasters. And look how quickly they've recovered. Nipping at the heels of the competiton sales, revamped line-up, and some of the highest JD Power scores ever.
I think they're doing just fine..
