Thanks Im2bz2p345!
My wishlist is simple : memory seats, electric folding mirrors, better and bigger nav screen.

My prospected car is coming to the dealership in June. Do you think I can reserve that car, and if I'm satisfied with the changes for the 2015 model, cancel that order and place a new one for a 2015?

Thanks!

should find out by June as people have mentioned. Possibly even as early as the NY AUTO SHOW might shed some light on it...

**hoping for 2.0 l 4 cyl TURBO engine option!** and **ULTRASONIC BLUE***

The 250 motor is finally done... It won't even make it into the RC..

What will make it into the RC is a 200t
(but not for the launch)

There's really no point in waiting. They'll screw you either way. They'll add the features you want, increase the price a little. Rinse and repeat. You'll end up paying more or end up waiting forever for your perfect IS. It's a pretty awesome business model.

Just buy the car, spend the extra money on mods or something that will put a bigger smile on your face.

I don't understand why people expecting Lexus/Toyota to make chages on a brand new car that just introduced for 1 year.
Its like a big slap in the face on the customers who bought it on the first year of introduction.
What makes you think they would want to do that?

Definitely not major things like tranny and engine. That's just unrealistic. But basic features that were purposely taken away will make it back into the car.

It's not unheard of for changes to happen after a single model year, for example the 3GS only had the 3GR-FSE for 1 year (2006) before switching out for the 2GR-FSE in 2007. Same goes for the 3UZ-FE swapping out for the 1UR-FE within a couple of years.

It could/may happen.

Yearly changes happen to stay competitive and keep the line fresh. If you don't spike a car with new features, colors, wheels, and taillights, sales can get stale while everyone else is offering new things.

My guess is the re-addition of U.S.B. and probably an extra luxury feature or two. I don't think the 2.0T is coming for 2015, or we would have likely heard some mumblings about it by now.

History with all manufacturers. What makes you think they won't?

BMW introduced the twin turbo 6 a year after the e90 debuted.
