Post Help is250 (2014) emblem

I want to remove my rear TRUNK Lexus emblem but I'm not sure how to.... I want to make it gloss black.

Please help... Thanks

Heat it up with a heat gun or blow dryer on low for a couple minutes (this softens the glue), then use fishing line to peel it off.

If you end up deciding you like the car better without, goo-gone and some rubbing alcohol will safely remove any leftover residue.

you should probably just consider plastidip if you are gonna put the emblems right back on, this way it is in the same spot and not have to worry about new tape.

If you want to spend a little more but with a better quality you can order the BLACK PEARL L badge from Sewell:

I have the complete kit installed on mine and the quality, in my own humble opinion, looks better than getting it plasti-dipped.

I also used 3M Adhesive Remover after taking the stock ones off, left no residue on and surface was very clean after.
