It would be silly if it could be proven that these aren't selling and that adding memory seats, etc., would trigger an avalanche of sales. But the fact is that they are selling very well which means Lexus knows it's competition and it's targeted audience and that is good business. A few outliers on forums won't make or break Lexus, BMW, or MB. One could hardly call Club Lexus a groundswell or a movement. Heck, in 6/2013 when I bought my Fsport and everyone was *****ing here -- I suggested they post to the Lexus FB page for a chance at real results -- no one did because one can't remain anonymous when posting on FB.
[QUOTE=JDR76;8381280]I suppose it's personal preference. I have them in both my RX and my IS and would not ever own a car again without them, but understand if it's not a thing for you.
"Ventilated" or Cooled seats are essential here in Arizona. I have not purchased a new F-Sport because it's not offered. This is a deal breaker for me. Lexus get with it!
Sales Price: $33,883.00 plus tax and doc fee and license fees
*Dealer emailed me a Quote Worksheet on the above car
Exterior Color: Ultrasonic Blue
***Other Lexus Dealer's are basically at the moment at $34,000.00 - $34,200.00 for the same car!
***I haven't decided if I want to special order the car with: Parking Assist (PA) and/or Leather and Pre-Collision.
Granted I do like Leather but "PA" is a tempting option- but would probably have to wait upwards of two months to get a special ordered car- And if it takes several months- should I wait and order a "2015 CT200h'?
Is "Parking Assist" a good option to get- or is it just appealing but in real life- hardly ever use it- or when you do use it for parallel parking- you sort of doubt that it will work properly?
My 2014 IS350 AWD is the F Sport Executive Package. There are 3 levels of F Sport (AWD only) in Canada: F Sport Base, F Sport Premium (Moonroof and Nav), and F Sport Executive (ML Audio, BSM, Rear Cross Traffic and Radar Cruise, Pre-collision System). For some reason, the RWD F Sport models don't have the F Sport Executive package.
Hey I just ordered The same exact package as you and color! picking up the car in end of may. Oh and I'm korean too, we should be brothers.
I don't mind if the navigation screen is this size, but please make it look more luxurious by putting a roof like cover on top to sort of box in the screen like the rest of Lexus' models. To think again though Lexus focus too much on the sportiness and handling of the 2014 IS where they may forgotten some key points in luxury.
I was interested to see any thoughts on additions to 2015 spec as I'm about to order in the UAE and this appears (to me) to be the best Lexus forum for information. The models here are more similar to the US spec - however we already get some of the features listed on this thread.....
- Memory seats
- Ventilated seats
- Fold/Tilt mirrors for reverse etc
I was interested that on the Japanese site it implies that the "Lexus Dynamic Handling System" is on the F Sport. I haven't seen that elsewhere. Maybe it will be offered in the future.
