Default Blacking out chrome help

I am blacking out the chrome on my car and I need help deciding which finish. I have a black non f sport and was wondering it if should do matte or glossy black? I have matte graphite wheels too on the car.

why don't you do it based on your own preferences? i mean when you painted your wheels matte graphite, did you ask forum members for their opinions as well? its your car man, enjoy it, paint it the way you want it!

Are you painting or wrapping them? If paint I think gloss black would look better IMO.

experiment with plasti dip! paint it matte black with plasti dip first, see if you like it. if not, then paint over it with gloss black. after you determine which one you like, remove all the painted layers and repaint to perfection.

I am having it wrapped. I was thinking the gloss bc if I do matte, it's then another shade of black on the car. Example: gloss black car, matte graphite wheels, limo tint, some grey tint spindle grill.

I was only asking bc I haven't seen many cars with gloss and was wondering if anyone has ever seen it with gloss on a black car.

Either way it won't be a perfect match. I went with matte because it hides scratches much better.
