Default Need parking sensors?

For those of us with F-Sport and no parking sensors the front of our cars have a pretty good chance to be damaged by accidentally running on curb. I have owned the cars that generally were high enough not to worry about the curbs when parking but this car is very low. Do you guys plan to install parking sensors? if so, do you think it will help?

Parking sensors will not help because they're not low enough to detect curbs. I installed a device very similar to how parking sensor works with sonar. It's called curb alert.

All my cars are too low for curbs. I am extra careful when pulling up to a parking spot.

It's interesting how the US model has no parking sensor for front...while other countries F sport all does :\

It's because Lexus NA marketing believed NA customers aren't willing to pay for it. They may be right. We will never know. But I know what you mean. I drove the 300H with F sport over the holidays in Taiwan. It had every possible options you can imagine on the IS. It's quite sad that a small market like that and their Lexus marketing department aren't so closed mind like the one here in NA.

Some will argue that they have to hold back basic features to keep the prices down and increase it over the years. With clever marketing and packaging you can still achieve that without giving us a bare bone Lexus for a top of the line package.
