Default Installing Air Intake

Guys, sorry if this is a repost.

Does anyone know how to install an air intake?

I bought the F Sport air intake from Sewell but am not sure where to start.

Thanks!!

You might do a search for instructions on the 2IS, the install should be very similar as its the same engine.

I don't think 2IS F-Sport intake will fit 3IS.

Not saying to use the 2IS intake, just to use the instructions.

Not for the same intake, but r0shiro has a good DIY you can use the initial steps on how to remove the existing one.

Like corrado mentioned, follow r0shiro's DYI. It's pretty thorough and should help. Intakes are a pretty simple bolt-on piece. Follow the DYI and it shouldn't be hard. If you run into difficulty just post your questions.

In that case it should fit. I didn't know there was F-Sport intake for 3IS.

That's not a intake. Read the description "
Equipped on all IS 350's and F-Sport models, this upgradable intake pipe for your IS250 seeks to further enhance engine-note acoustics by using air intake pulsations to raise the sound pressure level of specific frequencies that are perceived as pleasant to the human ear:"

I've just installed the Sound Intake Generator. It sounds really good.

If I drive in Eco, it's just like before

In Sports, sounds like a baby v8
