I was washing my car on christmas eve 2 days after I had my tints done and found a small dent over my rear passenger side door. I'm assuming the tint shop did it but I dont expect them to fess up to it. I know they dont use any machines or anything to put on tints but when I picked up my car, there garage was PACKED with stuff including tow boats and two other cars being worked on. Everything was very unorganized and I wouldnt be surprised if someone working on another project just bumped my car and didnt think anything of it. Either way I tried to take some pics of the dent.
Basically I just want some input as to whether you guys think it can be popped out or something? Or am i just going to have to live with it? Its a small dent in an awkward spot so I dont know what to think.
Heres a few pics from different angles.....kinda hard to see. The reflection on the car swirls where the dent is.
Paint less dent repair would be your best option. They could drill a hole under the dent in the top of the rear door frame, smooth the dent and install a plug that would not be visible. Should run no more than 100 bucks.
Yup, paint-less dent removal will keep your car from collecting minor dings and dents. You would be amazed how well the process works. My guy is really good, last time I had some dents pulled was $145 for a bunch of small stuff and $40 for one above the drivers window which he did drill from the inside and use a rubber plug as Hoosier mentioned.
I also agree with paintless dent removal, on my first IS someone backed into it above the rear tire (on the crease) and when they were done you couldn't tell it was ever there.
