Default Where to buy good microfiber towels

I was told the ones I bought from autozone are terrible quality
Where can you buy better ones? What makes them better?

I guess a better question is can you purchase any good quality microfiber towels from a store or do you have to order them online?

If you don't mind buying from Australia, (shipping is reasonable) Final Inspection (www.finalinspection.com.au) manufacture and sell sub-1 denier Nanofibre cloths of incredible high quality with Nanofibre hand sewn edges that WILL NOT scratch ANY vehicle paintwork.

As a car detailer myself, I absolutely swear by these cloths and would never, ever consider using anything else.

I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with them!

be sure to get the ones with the silk lining on the edges. I have some chemical guys ones I got off amazon, they feel much softer than ones you get at autozone

Check out this site (very popular on the detailing forum here):

http://www.detailedimage.com/

Also, do check out the detailing forum.

They have some great advice over there. The website I mentioned also sells a special laundry detergent for microfiber and "real" cotton towels - free of oils, scents etc.

Good luck.

I got 20% off coupon when I signed up for auto geek forum. I used that to buy bunch of stuff for my new car including microfiber towels, Griots Garage 6" polisher, Lake Country Hydro-Tech 5.5" and 4" pads, Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine, Optimum Hyper Polish, Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 and Optimum Opti-Lens.

Also there is currently buy one get one free on this MFT.

As mentioned Chemicals Guys has some nice plush MF towels. They frequently run sales so that's when I buy. There's a bit of trial and error to finding the nicest one's.

Here are the one's I use:

For washing the car: http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical..._p/mic_493.htm

For drying the car: The best. https://www.chemicalguys.com/Product...tCode=MIC_1995 or these which are excellent too just not quite as soft. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...mic_781_01.htm

For buffing off sealants or waxes: http://www.chemicalguys.com/ProductD...ode=MIC_1023_1

Lesser but still good quality MF towels for interior detailing or general use like cleaning bird crap off the car. I use yellow for the interior and blue for the exterior so I don't mix them up. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...mic_506_01.htm

I also use ECO's free & clear laundry soap that I purchase at the supermarket on all my MF towels. It doesn't contain any fabric softeners and costs a lot less than the MF soaps from the detailing websites. http://www.ecos.com/ecosfree.html
