Default Wheels Weight

Dear All,

Sorry but I cannot find any information on the weight of the popular wheels here.
(Maybe I should try harder or maybe someone can share a previous thread)

I would be eternally grateful to know the weight (front & back) of :

1. 17" Original Lexus wheels (as per below pic)

2. 18" F-Sport

3. 20" Vossen CV5

Any inputs on the weight of other wheels are most welcome

The following link has good weight info although it is from another forum (hope you are all ok with it)

I have changed my wheel setup to 19" and i am feeling a loss of throttle response and responsiveness as compared to the original 17".
After learning some about unsprung weight from this forum , it seems that unspring weight is a very important factor in performance, ride quality and handling.
I am now hunting to improve my current set up that feels sluggish with some new wheels and this time round, I hope to get it right with some weight savings.

1. 17" Original Lexus wheels (as per below pic) A good guess would be 22-23 lbs

2. 18" F-Sport 28.25 lbs front 30 lbs rear (info is from a 2IS thread)

3. 20" Vossen CV5 I have no clue but they are cast wheels so they are probably pretty portly.

Im suprised the 18's are so heavy. I think the factory 20" Ray's wheels on the GTR (premium and black editions) are lighter or weigh around the same.

My bad. 3IS F-Sport are 28 lbs Front / 28.20 lbs Rear. Kudos to Toyota for knocking 2 lbs off the rear wheels over the 2IS. Still dreadfully heavy though.

If im not mistaken Vossen CV3's are 27lbs front ( 20x9) and 28lbs rear (20x10.5)

CV5's should be the same or a bit heavier

Thanks to all for your input
Tentatively :
1. 17" Original Lexus wheels (as per below pic) - Approx. 22-23 lbs
2. 18" F-Sport - 28 lbs front 28.2 lbs rear
3. Vossen CV5 - 29lbs front (20x9) and 30lbs rear (20x10.5)

Let's also input Original 18" Lexus wheels weight (Non F-Sport) for some of the brothers & sisters out there

4. 18" Non F-sport Original Lexus Wheels - namely as below :

Thanks for your "peek into the future"
It made me feel a lot better
I love the CV5 and most of Vossen designs.
Can't wait to see the Flow Formed & Precision Series Forged design !!!
