Vinyl or plastic prying tools makes the job of changing bulbs very easy. All the lenses will easily comes lose with a sharp prying tool. Don't use a screwdriver, you'll scratch the lens.
Avalible at most hardware stores for about 10$..

Headlined was really easy. If you have a body panel tool or something plastic to use so you don't scratch it. Just pry it down gently where the clips are.

The headliner bulbs are easy - use a plastic pry tool.

The footwell are also easy to remove the lens - the hose trick removes the bulbs very easy.

The trunk light (from standing looking into the trunk) the lens releases on the right side and then you need to slide it to the right to remove. The left side slides under the trunk liner - clips / 'prongs' are on the right side only.

The reverse lights (#921 bulb) is best removed after removing the trunk liner. A clip removal tool is best used here. I replaced with the Sylvania 6000k bulb (found these at Pep boys @ #30.00ea with a coupon - reg. $35.00ea). These had to be inserted being mindful of polarity. If they don't light up, remove and rotate and then re-install. Test before re-installing the trunk liner.

i like the hose idea, but not everyone has hose in their possession. i just used a piece of duct tape, wrapped it around the bulb and pulled it right out!

A normal vinyl glove on your hand makes it a lot easier to remove the bulb. (your fingers won't slip of the bulb)

We have LED packages for the 2014 Lexus IS that starts under $100.00. We have LEDs that are super bright and also ones that are more subtle (better than factory bulbs but not too bright).

Just send us a private message or email and we can do a custom LED package based on your personal preference.

Cheers!!!
