Default First Service Appointment Tomorrow...

Going in for my first service appointment tomorrow to hopefully address the slow Enform and choppy navigation systems.

Who’s been in for service already? Anything in particular I should mention to the dealer that may need attention as well, so I need not plan another visit soon again for something overlooked?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Just under 700 miles; yes, service is for software update, amongst other things, but wondering what others have brought theirs in for already, to cover all bases.

Don't want to get everyone wound up over my 'motherload' thread again, as well as a few of the other separate threads I've started as well.

I got my 30 day appt tomorrow, woo woo. I'll inquire about the nav update. Hopefully the Lexus service shop in San Jose will/can do the update.

What are you bringing your car in for?

I brought my car in for the 30 day complimentary service that they offer, aka 1000 mile service. I am slightly over 500 miles, but brought the car in anyway since it was 30 days.

They updated my navigation, and I am not sure if I notice the difference.

Check what version you are on. Minimum should be 8500.

1000 mile service? Manual says 5000 miles or 6 months service which is complementary as well as the 10,000 mile service. ah well long as it is free. Got my 15, 20 and 25K service included in my deal at no cost.

Yes, wondering this too; what occurs at the 1000 mile service, don't see it...?

We should all get a complimentary 1000 mile check up and a complimentary 5000 mile check up. Aside from updating my navi (which I had to tell them to - otherwise they wouldn't have), it was a simple service. Not knowing what they were going to do for the 1000 mile check up, I went anyway, and by reading invoice - all they did was check the tire pressure, as well as check to see if the floor mats were properly installed.

Navi update should really be pushed over the air, as for floor mat and tire pressure, seems easier to check that yourself, takes only few mins.
