Default License Plate Info

In a post I read a while back someone bought screws or something that gives you the ability to move your license plate to the bottom of the spindle grill instead of having it in the middle.

Do anyone know what this product might be? I can not seem to find it on club lexus.

Search for using the tow hook to hold the license plate. It's not on the bottom, but off to the left.

You're probably thinking about using Toggle Bolts. I'd give them a coat of paint if so for added protection.

hidetheplate.com

You can throw the excuse to the cop that pulls you over that you left in a hurry and forgot to pull it out

I got the motorized version of it and am about to hook it up to the Rear Sunshade button which will be next to the BSM button. That remote control looks weird and I don't want to be dangling around another control on my key chain. I could just leave the key chain in the cup holder or whatever, but I think that looks a bit cheap, so I hope I can wire it to give it a more sleek appearance.

Rear Sunshade button was found while looking through the Owners Manual. I contacted dealer and said they could get it for me for around $65. Took a month to get here but finally got it.

There is no way I'm going to zip tie, bolt, screw, drill, anything in the grill.

Hidetheplate looks crazy haha never seen a product like that. Reminds me of the transporter or something where you need to put 3 different plates on it and then run from the cops.

Agreed! The motorized version does look like some secret agent gear.

I am surprised no one had posted this before. My friend had the manual version of the front bracket for his Challenger and it works great. I just couldn't see myself having to always remind myself to either hide or display the plate manually.

Ya i agree. I would forget and get a ticket. Not worth it if it slips your mind everytime you go for a drive. Chances are if you show the cop they will still be a **** and write you up
