Default Wheel fitment

Anyone here have knowledge on the sizing that will fit with the 3IS?

Rim size/ how wide/ and what tire sizes.(information for lowest rim size vs largest rim size if possible to keep an accurate odometer)

Thanks in advanced.

I think the 2013 and 2014 Lexus IS can use the same wheel specs if that is the case the following Vossen 20" wheel specs below work.

Front.

5x4.5/114.3 32 mm

or

5x4.5/114.3 38 mm

Rear

5x4.5/114.3 45 mm

You can run 20's. 20x9 and 20x10.5, however for the tires sizes, it depends how low you are going to go. here's a black 3is on 20x9 and 20x10.5.

You gotta be a lil more specific when u ask questions like this because it all depends on the look your going for.....but this is my current setup

front 19x9+18 225 35 19
rear 19x10+25 235 35 19

it all depends on the size of the wheel and if you are lowered or looking to lower

here is the basic information for you vehicle

Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 also known as 5x4.5

Now for the 3IS

depending on the fitment you are looking for

We have done the 20" Vossen wheels

using the following specs

Front: 20x9 + 32
Rear: 20x10.5 + 38

for 19"

we have done

Front: 19x8.5 + 24
Rear: 19x10.5 + 38

it also depending on the wheel you are after.

The rear wheel on the black Lexus looks bent or the suspension is off.

I think it might be a mix of heavy negative camber and wide angle lens distortion. I like those wheels though. You could definitely put a massive set of brakes on with that much space.

while we are on the subject of wheels i have a tire question..

first off i am seriously considering getting a set of the LFA style wheels in matte black found on ebay in the 19" 8.5 front and 9.5" rear.
i am very **** about my speedo and tire diameter being as exact to stock as i can possibly get.
what tire size will fill a 8.5 front rim so the sidewalls are square to the lip, not over wide and not narrower than the 8.5 width and same for the 9.5 rear wheel.
i would like to price some tires before i get the wheels ordered.

so i want to know what tires have the same diameter whatever that is and when mounted are 8.5" wide and 9.5" wide
thanks!

19's look perfect. Too bad 19" tires cost a lot more than the 20's.

I use to be into the low offset/VIP style look, but I cannot stand to drive that carefully anymore.

Anyone here seen the project gs from five axis?

If so, what would you call that 'look'?

I'd prefer function and form. If possible. I'm just getting back into the game.

You can have your speedo calibrated after you get a set of wheels and tires on your car.

Vossen debuted first with wheels in the USA and let everyone else know what works on the 2014 IS...see the latest video below... As others have stated it depends on the look/feel you want.
